We’re pleased to invite the community to a vital health awareness session on Brugada Syndrome, organised by the Brugada Syndrome Foundation CIC. This free event is part of our ongoing mission to raise awareness about this rare but life-threatening heart condition.
Despite being largely unheard of, Brugada Syndrome can cause sudden cardiac arrest, often in individuals with no prior symptoms. It is a genetic condition that affects the way electrical signals pass through the heart, and it can strike without warning—especially in younger, otherwise healthy individuals.
🧬 Why This Session Matters
Many people living with Brugada Syndrome don’t even know they have it. Early detection and awareness are critical to saving lives. By attending this session, you’ll gain important knowledge that could protect you or someone you love.
Our awareness session will cover:
✅ What is Brugada Syndrome?
✅ Common symptoms and warning signs
✅ How it is diagnosed and treated
✅ Why family history matters
✅ What to do if you’re at risk
✅ Real-life experiences and expert insights
We’ll also share resources and information on genetic screening, ECG testing, and how to speak to your GP if you have concerns.
